Gere

The elegant red wine of an exceptional Villány vintage with a layered nose and palate. “For me, this is the real Villány wine, it became stocky,” said Attila Gere. Forest fruits, blackcurrant and blackberry, thick spiciness and good tannins. A perfectly ripened Cabernet Franc with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon spices. It’s in very nice balance, with subtle oak from the 300-litre Zemplén oak used for ageing and long, black fruity finish. Alcohol: 14,5%

Its color is deep purple with burgundy reflexes. The flavors of the aroma, especially prunes, roasted cinnamon and vanilla, explode and then the aroma is constantly expanding. Tasted with a vibrant elegance, accompanied by black berries and coffee barrel spices, the harmony of fine acids, ripe tannins and the Villány landscape make up the overall picture.

Every year, Villány winery starts the harvest with rosé ingredients, so the freshest wines are already on the shelves in November. A sparkling wine with a low alcohol content and refreshing acidity, a blend of Medoc noir, merlot and kékfrankos. Fresh, crisp, attractively bright colored bubbly rosé with a fresh, red berry fruit aroma.

Perceptible aromas of pearly fruitiness, strawberry and May cherry. Freshness and firmness appear in the taste.
