Great Taste Awards 2020 competition starred, i.e. one of the winning sauce! The Chipotle sauce is the marriage of a lifetime of smoked jalapeno peppers and sun-ripened, extra juicy San Marzano tomatoes. The end result is a pleasantly to moderately spicy, full-flavored wonder, thanks to its low SHU (5000-8000). Chipotle description: since it is a Jalapeño pepper, they are roughly similar in length, meaning they are usually 5-8 inches long. After drying they will be wrinkled and flat, unlike before they are shiny and smooth. Flavour: smoky, earthy, slightly sweetish.
