Zichy Anna Extra Dry Frizzante 2021 750ml

The sparkling wine of Anna Zichy's estate was made from furmint, which was enriched with a little muscat and tramini. Its elegant color, fruity aroma, citrus aroma and lively acidity are balanced by the residual sugar content.
Zichy Anna Extra Dry Frizzante won a bronze medal at the Winelovers Wine Awards held in 2023.
The scent of our Frizzante is reminiscent of clean, medium-intensity, juicy fruits, accompanied by a floral and mineral character in the background. When tasted, it is characterized by a dry, light bubble sensation, characteristic acids and juicy aromas. All of this is the result of a bold combination: we enriched the Mádi Furmint base wine with the first harvest of our Tarcal Muscat and with the clusters of the nearly 60-year-old Tramini plantation in Sárospatak.

About the winery:
The founder of the Tokaji Zichy Vineyard, Count Zichy Aladár, bought the vineyards in Hegyalja from the Waldbott family. On the nearly 30-hectare estate, we mainly grow furmin, and to a lesser extent muscat and linden grape varieties. The estate's plantations are located in the borders of Mád, Szegi, Tarcal and Sárospatak.
After the renovation and modernization of the plantations, we started working with wine in 2015.
Our first commercially available product is Zichy Anna champagne made from the 2019 vintage.
