The rich character of their rosé is given by 40% Merlot, 40% Portugieser and 20% Kékfrankos. Sparkling salmon color. Its intense fruity aroma is a mixture of rosehip, lychee and cranberry, it is characterized by lively acids and a long aftertaste. It is a great partner for salads, light appetizers, fish dishes, but it is also excellent on its own or as a splash.
Awards and recognitions: Won a silver medal at the 2023 Vinalies Mondial du Rosé in Cannes, the international wine competition for the world's best rosés. It also won a silver medal at the 2023 St. George's Day wine competition in Siklós.
The Márton Cellar in Villány has many excellent wines, including red wines, which are among the top quality wines produced in the region. The wines of the Márton Pince often win recognition in wine competitions and evaluations, and many people visit the estate to enjoy the high-quality wines and learn about the traditions and processes of winemaking.
Since Hegyszentmárton is the westernmost tip of the Villány-Siklós Wine Region, there was no doubt at the time of planting that the varieties defining the character of the landscape would be planted here: Cabernet Franc, Portugieser, Merlot, Chardonnay, as well as varieties that are not native here, but have acclimatized well over the years, all Italian Riesling and Green Veltelini.
They have been making wine since 2009 and every year they try to "pass on" something new, something individual through this wonderful wine. They feel that their mission is to achieve the satisfaction of their customers and partners, to create a taste world that makes them choose their wines.
