An incredibly popular Tuscan wine referred to as Brunello's little brother. It is marketed after 8 months of aging in oak barrels and 4 months in bottles. A much shorter barrel aging time than Brunello results in the dominance of fruity notes. It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with flavors of cherry, plum and cherry. Soft, mineral and rounded tannins can be detected in the taste.
