- Consumed with a tablespoon alone
- As an accompanying sauce for big game and waterfowl
- Soft and matured cheeses, grilled matured cheeses, accompanied by cheese toast
- Mixed with horseradish or horseradish sauces
- Forest fruit, dark chocolate, poppy sauces, creams, for flavoring, sweets, as a filling for almond pastas, cakes, served with creamy vanilla puddings
