Goppion Caffé is part of the history and tradition of coffee roasting in Northern Italy. The history of the Goppion family begins in 1858 with Luigi, who starts working with coffee with his son Pietro. Then, at the beginning of the century, four of the family's six brothers and sisters gained experience in coffee-growing countries and opened their first small factory in Treviso, which became an industrial plant after the war. In 1960 they introduced the first vacuum-packing process to keep the coffee fresh for longer.Their experts buy from the best plantations in coffee-growing countries, selecting the producers who can guarantee the highest quality. They request samples and, after pre-tasting, order the right green coffee from the growing areas. They stick to the tried and tested old slow traditional processing methods.
