Berliner Weisse is a wheat malt-based beer with a sour taste that was originally first made in Germany. During the brewing process, lactic acid bacteria are added to the wort, which deacidifies it, and then the wort is boiled again to kill these bacteria. Nowadays, the plain version is made even more exciting by adding different fruits and hops.
