India Pale Ale (IPA) is the most defining style of new-wave small-scale brewing, its origins go back to the English colonization of India. The merchants wanted to optimize the long and expensive ship journey by using stronger and more hops, so they brewed beers that are more bitter, fuller, tastier, and also longer lasting, and then offered them locally, already watered down. The stationed soldiers often did not expect this and poured much nicer concoctions. This story served as the basis for the start of the American small-brewery beer revolution around the 1980s, when breweries began to brew beers in a similar style, with an extremely exciting emphasis on hops, and thus fragrant and bitter.
"We decided that the time had come to create a premium, alcohol-free kraft, i.e., small-brewery beer, which carries the characteristic, undeniably irresistible taste of both Horizont and kraft beers in every sip.
We wanted to create our first alcohol-free product in collaboration with a brewer who is experienced in technology, so we chose the Dutch Vandestreek brewer, whom we have known for a long time.
The beer itself became a soft, very easy-to-drink item, different in every respect from the large-scale alcohol-free beers known from everyday life.
And yes, 100% KRAFT! As soon as you open the box, you can smell the characteristic, hoppy, craft beer aroma. A soft, easy-to-drink beer with a pleasantly hoppy, refreshing aftertaste and a slightly hazy appearance. Four types of hops, Simcoe, Amarillo, Mosaic and Columbus, provide the characteristic hoppiness of kraft IPAs. The combination of these gives the consumer a pleasant taste experience not only in every sip, but also in the aftertaste.
