Bret's beautiful story begins in 1991, when Alain Glon created a potato branch in collaboration with Breton farmers. Alain's original idea was to provide additional remuneration to Breton farmers and breeders by developing a potato sector specifically for the crisp. From variety selection, planting, assistance in cultivation techniques, and finally harvesting: the agricultural basin in Pontív quickly became a specialist in this production. Alain's reception as an entrepreneur came quickly, in 1995, when he created the first Breton crisp factory from scratch. Since its foundation, the company has specialized by launching the first flavored chips on the French market with its Brets brand.
