This edition of Blanco, or unripened tequila, is distilled twice in a column still and in traditional pot still stills to give a perfectly smooth and balanced taste profile. All other Espolón tequila are made from this distillate recipe.

His most famous work, Calavera (Skulls), strongly commented on the social injustices of his time - from here, the Espolón brand drew on the skeletal representation of man in its design.
