We have good news! We've developed the essence just for you! This is our chilli sauce, a punchy combination of juicy Hungarian peppers ripe to the cherry-ripe and ghost chilli. It's the perfect choice if you want to spice up your stew, chowder, or Sunday broth, but instead of the over-salted, xanthan gum peppers, you'd rather opt for a premium handmade Hungarian chilli sauce. The essence contains only 4% Himalayan salt, so you won't salt your food.
The reason we chose ghost chilli to go with Hungarian paprika is because, in addition to its extraordinary strength, it doesn't overwhelm the world of flavours that we've come to love and enjoy when we have a spicy fish soup with our family on Christmas Eve. Of course, the use of the essence is not limited to Hungarian cuisine, because the natural paprika flavour allows for countless possibilities, whether you use it for cooking or as a flavouring afterwards.
Its power is not nothing! At around 100,000 Scoville, it is one of the medium-strong products in the Chilicum range. About 10 times stronger than the strongest Hungarian peppers, this essence is one of our favourites because, in addition to the flavour typical of the native varieties, it offers a spiciness that would never be possible to produce with Hungarian varieties.
