This Glenfiddich single malt is a blend of different character maturations, using light, fruity ex-bourbon as well as richer, fuller port and sherry barrel whiskeys. Taste:
Chocolate caramel, black pepper, orange cream, orange peel, milk chocolate truffle, hazelnuts. Dripping some water into the whiskey also reveals the sweet side of the stewed apple caramel. Aroma: Barley sugar, raisin kuglof, dry cinnamon and nutmeg. Then it gets juicy, with the scent of pine, fresh peeled orange peel, lime jelly and Haribo, as well as a layer of fruity toffee using a few drops of water.
