Almond cream is perhaps the second most popular seed cream in the world after peanut cream. Not coincidentally, the characteristic taste of the lightly roasted almond cream will whip up anything you put it on: be it your breakfast porridge, a slice of bread, a hearty smoothie or your index finger. As you are used to with all our other products, almond cream is made from high-quality ingredients without additives. When we created the product, our goal was to follow the “clean eating” trend we followed and create a product that could be easily integrated into most nutrition trends and diets. We recommend it to those for whom, like us, conscious, clean eating and natural ingredients are essential. Those who want to return to eating simple, high-quality and as unprocessed food as possible will lay the foundation for a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. And also for those who choose premium quality gourmet ingredients over mass-produced products.
Almond cream
We make it from lightly roasted almonds, which will make the end result even more delicious and even more intense. In addition to peanuts, perhaps almond cream is the seed cream that best suits the bread & fruit pairing (modeled on a peanut butter & jelly sandwich), so someone prefers a sweet breakfast but avoids sugar and / or doesn’t want sudden blood sugar fluctuations in the morning, what our tip is toasted whole wheat rye bread, smeared with natural almond cream, and packed with some fruit (e.g. apple or pear slices, raspberries, possibly bananas).
Almond cream can also be used to replace fat (and partly flour) in all kinds of cookies, but it will make the smoothie creamier, porridge more nourishing, and even great for nas in the afternoon by dipping in a little fruit. (Our secret nasi tip: dates stuffed with almond cream, dipped in melted dark chocolate. Great for a gastronomic gift too !!)
Among our recipes you will find healthy and very delicious almond butter sweets, but the use of the cream is limited only by your imagination. If you like Thai cuisine, try it crazy with ginger, garlic, lime juice and a few drops of soy sauce and honey; this dressing takes any vegetable to a new dimension. If you’re a soup fan, taste how softer a pumpkin or beet cream soup will be from almond butter. It tastes just as good with Indian curries and sauces as it does with either Middle Eastern dishes or an unusual tomato paste sauce. And if you want a quick energy bomb, try your favorite post-workout smoothie as an ingredient, or for a hike, make yourself a raw energy slice of dried fruits, seeds, and almond cream. Kids also love almond butter breakfasts, their ten o’clock, homemade biscuits, which provide a healthy alternative to sugar and additive store products.
