Goppion Caffé is part of the history and tradition of Northern Italian coffee roasting. The story of the Goppion family begins in 1858 with Luigi, who starts making coffee with his son Pietro. Then, from the family at the beginning of the century, the 6 brothers gain experience in four coffee-producing countries and open their first small factory in Treviso, which becomes an industrial plant after the war. In 1960, they first introduce the vacuum packaging process to keep coffee fresh. Its experts buy from the best plantations in coffee-producing countries, selecting producers who can guarantee the best quality. Crop samples are requested and, after pre-tasting, the appropriate green coffee is ordered from the growing areas. During processing, they adhere to the well-established old slow traditional processing methods.
