Bumbu rum is available from 2020 with a changed alcohol content of 40% under the name Bumbu Original.
It is made according to the original recipe of 17th century sailors.
Bumbu Original is the flagship of Bumbu. This rum is based on a recipe described in 16-17. It was created by sailors living in the 19th century sailing in the West Indies - they actually mixed Caribbean ingredients with their rum and called it Bumbu. Now, 300 years later, rum has been recreated using the same spices in which no artificial coloring is used. Evaporate in small quantities and mix the blend by hand.
