Minas Gerais is one of Brazil's leading coffee-growing regions, accounting for half of the country's production. It is characterized by a high altitude and a mild climate. This green coffee comes from the Minasul Cooperative, the second largest coffee exporting cooperative in Brazil, founded in 1958 and currently having nearly 7,500 members from 4 smaller regions in Minas Gerais.
In 2020, they launched Minasul Origins - an innovative project that includes research, consultancy, support and trade, and aims to promote coffee from Minas Gerais throughout the world.
Natural processing takes about 3-4 weeks and is one of the longest methods. After harvesting, the coffee is dried with the entire pulp until the pulp acquires a markedly dark color and the bean is completely separated from the dried husk. The processing lasts until the moisture content of the beans reaches 12%.
Racer Beans Coffee entered the Hungarian specialty coffee roasting palette following the collaboration of two childhood friends. Both motorcycling and good coffee were the subject of their passion, so Racer Beans Coffee was born.
The brand exclusively aims to procure the highest quality green coffee and to process it properly and expertly. In the repertoire, we can usually find a variety of espresso and filter roasts from several growing areas to suit our needs.
