The aroma is fruity, with notes of ripe pear and butter. Beautiful floral ornamentation, nice acid structure, lively, distinct sparkling. The taste has notes of autolysis. Very long finish. It has a determined, robust style.

About the winery:
Kern Winery was founded in 2012 with the aim of creating a link between the past and future of wine production, combining tradition with nature and technology. Their plan is to "revive" the traditional, almost forgotten grape varieties using the most modern and gentle procedures.
They bought their first areas in Balatonszőlős (Öreghegy, Penke-dűlő), followed by the other plantations in Tokaj-Hegyaljá (Tarcal-Mandulás-dülő, Szegi, Bakonyi), with the estate center in Tarcal. They currently farm on 10 hectares (5 h Balaton, 5 h Tokaj-Hegyalja).
In both wine regions, we make our champagnes using the traditional method (Méthode Traditionnelle). Our main varieties in Balatonszőlős are Olaszrizling, Pinot Gris, Zenit and Zweigelt. In Tokaj, Furmint, Muscat Lunel, Hárslevelű and traditional Tokaj grape varieties such as Zéta, Kabar and Kövérszőlő.
We have a wide range of white wine and sparkling wine available, which are a great introduction to Hungary's two largest white wine producing areas. Our champagnes are mineral, very widely understood, elegant, balanced, with pleasant acidity.
