The archuaco tribe was famous for growing cocoa beans in the Sierra Nevada, Colombia. The archuacos persecuted in recent centuries have now returned to their land, where this special variety of cocoa beans is being re-grown in harmony with nature. Called Businchari, or a new beginning, cocoa beans are an ancient variety that was almost completely wiped out by Colombian settlers, thinking that a disease had attacked the trees because of its white color.
