From the Italian word tagliare, which means "to cut", tagliatelle is a traditional type of pasta from Italy. Where verdi means green in Italian, which suggests that the pasta is colored with spinach. Our green tagliatelle gets its color from the addition of fresh spinach and premium durum wheat flour and looks great when served. It is easy and quick to prepare and goes well with rich tomato or cream sauces, fish and meat. Green tagliatelle is also a favorite among vegetarians and is excellent for mixed vegetable sauces. Tagliatelle is traditionally served with meat or bologna sauce, but it can also be used extremely well with cheese or cream sauce.
