Rosemary, which comes from the Mediterranean region, has been known since ancient times. At first, it was used for the ceremonies of religious cults, then as a raw material for medicines, before becoming a popular spice in gastronomy.
Nowadays, rosemary is a popular spice in Mediterranean cuisine and one of the basic elements of the Provence spice mix.
Excellent for seasoning grilled dishes, it harmonizes well with lamb, but it should be used with any meat, from chicken to beef, roasted, stewed or marinated. In addition to seasoning meat, it is great for flavoring roasted vegetables (potatoes, carrots, zucchini, onions, beets), soups, greens, and even salads. They were tortured, e.g. focaccia, evokes an exciting hot Mediterranean atmosphere. Sprinkle it into milk desserts, ice creams, puddings, sponge cakes, but it is also an ideal choice for making spiced butter.
