The Heppenheimer family keeps traditional laying hens in Baranya County, Márok:
During the day, the hens stay in a fenced area with trees and groves, they can roam freely, and at night they rest in a comfortable barn. We prepare their feed from corn and wheat, sunflowers and other plants produced by local farmers, taking into account the changing needs of the animals according to the seasons, based on our own recipe.
We do not use drug supplements, egg yolk dyes, or soy.
The housing conditions and the quality requirements of the eggs meet the official regulations. The inspection and packaging of the eggs - disinfection if required - is carried out in a licensed plant.
We also use our eggs to make "egg only" = eight-egg homemade dry pasta. Our wide selection also includes traditional pasta shapes and hand-made snipetke and tarhonya.
