The German winery Schloss Vollrads has been producing only Riesling wine for over 800 years. This centuries-long experience allows them to fully show the characteristics of the Rhaingau Rieling and to present the faces of the terroir in the different wines.

About the vintage:
After the cold, single-digit Celsius degrees in the early spring, the hottest July in centuries, a hot summer and a pleasant autumn tried to compensate the grape growers. Overall, this resulted in a promising vintage, where, despite the extreme heat, the acids were typically well preserved.
Rhine Riesling:
It is one of Europe's oldest cultured grapes, of German (Rheingau) origin, first mentioned in 1435. Its wine is characteristically slim, with high acidity and citrus aromas; it is capable of excellent quality at all degrees of dryness. Widespread and popular worldwide, its domestic area is approximately 1200 ha.
