They have been working on the Barbarossa wine for five years, and the whole family is very happy to finally be able to present their first vintage.
In the past decade and a half, they have honed a very striking and unique marriage with Barbár. This experience is now transferred to a fresher, younger wine. The most decisive difference between Barbár and Barbarossa is that, while the former is based on the exposed, windy, early-ripening areas of the Porkoláb Valley, which give very rich and concentrated flavors, Barbarossa is mostly made from grapes grown in the Bati Kereszt vineyard. The more protected, later ripening area results in a fresher fruit taste, slightly lighter structure and faster ripening.
Crimson and ruby colors at the same time, with a black core. In the aroma, dark spices, pepperiness, cassis, blackberry, plum, jam notes, i.e. lots and lots of primary fruits! The taste shows the good use of barrels, with delicious dark chocolate, quality tannins, good body. grape variety
