The grapes come from the Villány Wine Region, the warm cauldron of the Akasztófa vineyard in Siklós.
The wine is characterized by chemically cultivated grapes, yield restrictions (80 q / ha), manual harvesting and berry picking, as well as a beautiful, balanced vintage.
Thanks to the 12-month maturation in 225-liter Hungarian oak barrels, the aroma of ripe, fleshy fruits - cherries and sour cherries - mixed with the intense flavor of the barrel spices, enchants the wines with an extremely pleasant, astringent taste.
Young wine with a tight acid structure, medium tannin content and a long finish.
The winemaker recommends consuming it at a temperature of 14-15 'C with red meats or just alone, for lovers of blue franc wine.
We harvested one of the winemaker's favorite grape varieties from the highest point of the best south-facing hill in Siklós. 12 months of maturation was sufficient for this wine, as the winemaker intended a transition between the light and full-bodied wine categories in the premium rating.
An exceptionally beautiful red wine from Villány, characteristic of the blue franc variety, was born, and winemaker Tamás Riczu is very proud of it.
