A masterful expression of traditional Spanish grapes, Roda Reserva 2019 offers bold red fruit flavors with silky tannins and a complex, spicy aroma. Made from bush vines over 30 years old, the wine is the perfect balance of richness and elegance.
Roda Reserva 2019 is a modern wine that remains true to the traditions of Spanish winemaking. Made from 93% Tempranillo, 4% Graciano and 3% Garnacha grape varieties, the wine captivates with its rich red fruit flavors supported by fine, smooth tannins and spicy, complex aromas. The grapes come from more than 30 capitals in the Haro area, the low yield where they want to achieve a more concentrated flavor.
The grapes are fermented in French oak barrels, where the maturation takes place under temperature control. After that, a 14-month malic acid-decomposing fermentation also takes place in French oak barrels, followed by an additional 22 months of bottle aging to ensure that the wine matures perfectly before being released on the market.
Recommended pairing: A perfect choice for roasted meats, aged cheeses, grilled meats, game and red meats.
The Winery: Bodegas Roda pioneers the modern interpretation of Spanish grape varieties, producing stunning red wines that combine traditional winemaking with modern technology. The winery located in the Haro region is known for its concentrated, deep wines made from the low-yielding harvest of old estates.
