Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Chardonnay 2023 750ml

A very special New World Chardonnay from the winery of the famous film director Francis Ford Coppola from California. An oily, full-bodied vanilla and tropical fruit wine that is very different from what we are used to and really impresses us.
Half fermented in French oak barrels and half in tanks. It smells lush, creamy, caramel. Fruitiness appears in the taste, along with apple, cantaloupe and pear, crème brulée closes the sip. The aftertaste lasts for a long time. The grapes come from the Monterey Country growing area, where the cooling at night and in the morning preserves the acidity and fruitiness. In addition to the chardonnay, a little viognier was added to the wine, thanks to the floral notes.
