A blend of two special varieties, Petite Sirah (85%) and Petit Verdot (15%) (petite sirah: its tannins enclose the overflowing fruitiness of Petit Verdot in a firm, solid framework). Poured into our glass, we can see an incredibly deep burgundy wine with some purple hues. This color also conveys the character of the wine, just like the elephants on the label. A real big-bodied, robust wine, full of ripe late summer fruits. Blackberry, blueberry, and plum greet us in its aroma, which then accompany us for a long time in the sip, complemented by some vanilla and refined woody characters. Aged for one year in French and American barrels.
