PETNAT, i.e. the ancient champagne.
By reaching back to the roots of winemaking, we can arrive at the method by which we make PETNAT. PETNAT is a wine that is bottled before the end of fermentation. During fermentation, the natural sugar in the must turns into alcohol, and as a result of this process, CO2 appears in our wine. Our petnat is made from high-quality, hand-selected furmint, omitting the degumming step.
It is important that, as with petnats in general, you have to be careful when unpacking them. Open it well chilled and only very slowly, otherwise you could lose four!
