A wine of quite exceptional character and complexity, with a wonderfully beautiful structure, a spicy, aniseed and peppery character, it is possible that syrah of this style has not yet been born in the Carpathian Basin.
Alcohol: 13%
Syrah cultivated from Gereg with a capital load of 40 decades without spraying. After fermentation on the skin for 100 days, it was bottled for 18 months in an older (barrel-filled) wooden barrel on a fine broom, and finally in a bottle with a total sulfur content of 25 mg / l without filtration or clarification. (Not received as sulfur until plastering.)
Light ruby color, at first an interesting, slightly natural, minimally sulfur world, with hecsedli, hibiscus, red currant, then comes the syrah, intense black pepper, little smoked meat. Tasting exciting: light, playful, vibrant like a good kadarka, but not dilute or frivolous, juicy and long enough. It is reminiscent of old Count Buttler wines, the legendary kadarka, syrah, and we can hardly have more praise than that.
